Misty as a Super Misty (angle)

This is an artwork of Misty from Pokémon as a Super Misty (and yes, she does resemble either a Super Saiyan from the Dragon Ball franchise or one of the Super Hedgehogs from the Sonic series. That was intentional).

Basically, I got the idea after I noticed (and at least other user on SPPf back when I was a regular) that the form Ash got after restoring the Samiyan Sea Crown resembled that of the Super Saiyans (although given that restoring an object was involved, it was closer to the Super Hedgehogs in the Sonic series due to the latter group needing Chaos Emeralds to achieve the transformation).

This is her (planned) bio:

"After restoring the Sea Crown and saving Akusha, Misty becomes a Super Misty. while absorbing the Power as a result of restoring Akusha's sea crown, memories from her time as an Infant, her Misty Heritage, and her Family came back to her after seemingly having the events erased from her memory. As a result, she now can realize her Misty origins and why she was brought up by her surrogate sisters; Lily, Daisy, and Violet. After relearning a dark portion of her past that involved Lord Megatron's Betrayal, the brutal murder of her Parents, and her almost being Murdered, Misty goes off to the Akusha Sea Temple's rooftop to avenge her parents, as well as all the Pokemon and Humans/Founders of Pokeria that Lord Megatron and the rest of the Team Rocket Empire, and especially Giovanni, had murdered during their existance. Will she and Ariel stop Megatron and Team Rocket from Causing all Water Pokemon to become extinct before the final battle against the Mutagens, or will they ultimately fail. Only fate knows the answer to that question."

I based Misty's pose largely after one of her poses (albeit with her arms standing firm rather than on her hips), and her hair was taken from both Future Trunks' Super Saiyan state pre-ROSAT and Future Trunks' Ascended Super Saiyan State before unveiling his Ultra Super Saiyan State when fighting Perfect Cell.

I have another image of Super Misty as well (specifically, from the front). Note that the parents in question are her birthparents. I initially planned for them to be her sole parents, but after one of the creators of Pokémon revealed that Misty's parents were still alive, I decided after some hard thought that they would be Misty's birthparents. And like the Super Saiyans, Misty in this state is basically a berserker and very violent and angry, even by her standards. Also, I have a similar image depicting Ariel from Disney as a Super Mermaid (which, again, is also based on the Super Saiyans/Super Hedgehogs, and achieved through the same means). They are in the same universe, at least for this fanfic called Water Wars.

Also, this is for Anime Misty only. And the bio mentions Akusha instead of Samiya because the artwork(s) were made when Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea was released in Japan, prior to reaching the United States. I didn't like the Pokémon anime after the writers foolishly removed Misty for a Female Anime Stereotype, but I watched the movie for the Water Pokémon, even if May was in it.
